Tyler Bivens started his dance training taking hip hop at Extreme Dance Arts under the direction of Jamie Wallace. He then continued with other styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and tumbling. Tyler also studied ballet under the instruction of Sandra Black at Delta College.

Tyler has taken master classes in the Detroit area as well as with Glenn Packard and Levi Claiborne and also won several awards at dance competitions in Michigan. He has also trained with Misha Gabriel, Nick Lazzarini, Billy Bell, Mandy Moore and Bobby Newberry. Tyler has attended numerous conventions as well as studied at Millennium, EDGE, and Debbie Reynolds Dance studio in California. He has also auditioned for Bloc Talent Agency in Los Angeles.
