Dance Theatre Unlimited is a performing, traveling and competing dance company under the direction of Sandra Black.

Students invited and accepted into the company must participate in three classes at the Dean/Black School of Performing Arts, Inc, and be exclusive to the studio. One of these classes must be ballet as well as attend company class on Monday. Regular rehearsals will be scheduled aside from Monday class to prepare for performances as well as one competition scheduled each season.

Last season student members attended and competed at L.A. Dance Magic Convention/Competition where they placed 1st and 2nd in their categories of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop. Members also traveled to New York City, took classes at Broadway Dance Center as well as saw two Broadway shows. The troupe also went to Chicago and took classes at Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and attended Alvin Ailey Dance Theater performance as well as took a master class from company members.

All members are expected to attend classes regularly as well as be at all scheduled rehearsals.

Auditions will be September 12, 2011 at 8:00pm. Please bring ballet, tap and jazz shoes.
Parent meeting September 19, 2011 at 8:00pm.
First company class meets September 26, 2011, 8:00pm.
